This is a translation of our privacy policy in Portuguese, provided for convenience. If the two differ, the Portuguese version prevails.

Data controller

CondGest, Lda., tax number (NIPC) 519009096, with registered office at Praceta da Tabaqueira, A2, 1950‑256 Lisboa, Portugal. For any question about personal data: geral@condgest.com.

This policy applies to data collected through the website condgest.com. Data processed in managing the condominiums we look after is governed by each condominium’s management contract.

What data we collect

Proposal requests. When you fill in the form, we collect your name, email and phone number, your relationship with the building (owner, management board, developer…), the building’s name, address, location and characteristics (number of units, type of building, equipment, current management) and the message you write.

The proposal we send you. The proposal is sent by email, with a link to view it and download it as a PDF. When you open that link, we record the date and time of each visit and each download, and the type of device and browser (for example, “iPhone · Safari”). We do not record the IP address.

Direct contact. If you write to us or call us, we process the data you give us in order to reply.

Technical data. Like any website, the servers that host it log technical data about each request, such as the IP address, the date and the page requested, to keep it running and secure. These logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period and we do not use them to identify visitors.

What we use it for and on what legal basis

Replying to your request and preparing the proposal: based on your consent and on the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
Following up the proposal we sent you: knowing whether you received and read it, so we can contact you at the right time, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Security and operation of the website: based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and protected from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visit statistics: aggregated data, identifying no one, to find out which pages are useful. Only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), see below.
Map and review photos: third-party content, only loaded with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), see below.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not make automated decisions based on it.

How long we keep it

The data from a proposal request that does not lead to a contract, including the record of visits to the proposal, is deleted from our management system after 12 months. If you become a client, the periods in the contract and in our legal obligations, including tax obligations, apply.

Who we share it with

We use service providers who process data on our behalf, bound by contract and only for the purposes above:

Vercel: website hosting and visit statistics.
Resend: sending the email with your proposal request to our team.
Supabase: the database of our management system, where the request is recorded, hosted in the European Union.
Google: the company’s email, where we receive requests and messages.

Some of these providers are based in the United States or may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfer is made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Articles 45 and 46 GDPR).

Third-party content

Some parts of the website are loaded by your browser directly from third-party servers, which therefore receive your IP address. We only load them if you allow it, in the privacy notice or with the “Show map” button; without your permission, you see the list of areas instead of the map and the initial of the name instead of the photo.

Map of the condominiums: the map tiles come from OpenFreeMap, with OpenStreetMap data. They are only requested when you get close to the map section.
Google reviews: the photos of the review authors come from Google’s servers. The text of the reviews is fetched by our server, with no data about who is visiting the website, and is always shown.

The links to Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and the Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) only send data to those websites if you open them. From then on, each one’s own privacy policy applies.

Visit statistics

If you allow it, we use Vercel Web Analytics to find out which pages are viewed most. It records aggregated data: page visited, referring page, country, device type and browser. It does not use cookies, and the records are not linked to the IP address or to any person: each visitor is counted with a code that is renewed every day. The script reads the browser’s local storage, but does not store anything in it on this website. Without your permission, it is not loaded.

Cookies and consent

This website does not use cookies, neither for statistics nor for advertising. On your first visit we ask for your permission for the visit statistics and for the third-party content described above. Rejecting has the same effect as not answering: none of it is loaded, and the website works just the same.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage, under the entry condgest-consentimento, with the date you made it. It is the only record we keep on your device, it is strictly necessary so we don’t ask you again on every page, and it is not sent to any server. After six months, or if we change what we ask for, we ask again.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what has already been done, in (also in the footer of every page).

Security

The website only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Proposal requests travel over authenticated channels to our management system, which only the Condgest team can access.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing or portability, or object to the processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. Just write to geral@condgest.com. We reply within one month.

If you believe your data has not been handled in accordance with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or our providers change. The date of the last update is at the top of the page.
